Still fixable on most machines. It becomes an all keys lost recode, which takes longer and normally wipes any keys coded previously.
Will a new key stop my existing one from working?
Adding a spare while you still have a working key normally leaves the original active. A full recode after all keys are lost usually clears everything, which is the point of doing it that way.
Do you program remotes and keyless fobs as well?
Yes. Bikes fitted with a remote or a proximity fob need it paired to the machine much like a transponder key. Tell us which system yours uses when you call.
Do I need to get the bike to you?
No. Driveway, workplace car park, roadside or storage cage, as long as the bike can be reached safely and there is room to work beside it.
What should I have ready?
